I'd have been tempted to go for white gold bezel and white gold dial. This is is just obviously an after market job and I'd think it was a fake before thinking it had been customised. Everyone knows how a platona should look and this ain't it mate.

Great, a double-wanna-be-PM-Daytona.

I would assume there would not be much love for this on here for a couple of reasons, firstly most love to keep everything original and secondly people spend a lot to get that ice blue dial and this feel like a shortcut. Personally I say it's your watch and if it makes you happy rock on!

Love the glacier blue dial but could only be happy with it on the platinum reference.

I wouldn't personally dress a SS up as a PM but there's no denying it looks great Many congratulations on the finished product!

I personally think the ice blue baguette diamond dial will look better on metal bezel.

Looks a bit off. Maybe too used to that dial w the chestnut bezel. Lack of contrast, I guess. But whatever tickles your fancy.

What dial did you have on the Daytona originally? Are you planning on getting the ceramic bezel to match?

Interesting mod...though I'd go for the diamond baguette dial myself. Personally I think it looks alright and if it makes you happy go for it !!

This would've been the cherry on top for sure!

OP. I think it looks GREAT, better then the actual PT Daytona, to me.

Not sure why the hate though, guys put the WG Dials on the SS Daytonas all the time and no one complains about them.

Wow, I think it looks fantastic, very clean and sharp. I think there will be quite a few bastardised steel daytonas when the ceramic bezel becomes available.

Sourcing parts is easy if you are willing to pay for it. That dial was on eBay recently. Sourcing parts for retail, that's the difficult one.

It's an interesting switch and one we haven't seen before. I swapped out a panda WG dial on a SS before and while it looked great, I felt like I was cheating myself without having the true PM reference. I'll never modify a watch again.

I don't think I would do it, but I also think it looks OK and ultimately it's what you like.

To be honest, my first impression would be the watch is fake.

Having had a couple opportunities to buy the dial I always took a pass.
The watch looks great, but the number of people who are looking for this
Package is really limited. The bezel on the other hand I've never seen.
I'm also not sure if the case is 100% identical for install.

I like the look, cool. And to be honest people seem to have "accepted" custom Daytonas. I see lots of threads showing new dials and hands so there's definitely a group of people that is supportive.
