Moonwatch sedna gold vs white gold

I'm having a hard time choosing which one to buy.

I like how the Sedna gold looks, and it its 5.000 euro cheaper.

On the other hand, I love the fact that the white gold version has good dial contrast and platinum on the mix.

Not sure if I like the fact that the white gold looks almost the same as SS.

I have Canopus and love that no1 has any clue it’s precious. It’s super wearable, amazing dial. I wish there was a micro adjust in the clasp, there is only one notch in the clasp. I’ve heard the new moonshine has a slider which would be much better.

Good to know!

Too bad the moonshines are still not available at chrono24

I saw the WG version at an OB in the metal and it’s a stunner for sure! Didn’t get to see a Sedna side by side but I don’t think you’ll go wrong with either!

I know this is the Omega forum, but I actually have a 3rd option:

Zenith Defy 21 Chrono in rose gold

https://www.zenith-watches.com/int/p...0-9004-71-r585

Anyone think the Zenith is a totally bad idea?

The Moonwatch is more wearable and probably retains value better (I never sell watches though). But the Zenith is quite cool.

The zenith is super cool, but I think it’s one that looks better in SS honestly. Maybe go PM for the Speedy and then pick up an SS Zenith later so you can have the best of both without breaking the bank.

I'm the one who thinks so. Zenith? Questionable reliability.

On the topic, green dial Speedy is super cool IMO.

Sedna is amazing color. I’ve held both side by side and it was a Sedna for me.

I had the same dilemma as couple of months ago. I preferred the dial on the Canopus but the colour of the sedna! I went for the sedna in the end. I have to say I was concerned about reading the dial but I have had no problems at all. It is a thing of beauty and you feel great when you are wearing it.
Because the dial is so good on the Canopus, I may well buy one on a strap in the future.

I would go for those in a heartbeat, but they are not available!

Is there any difference in the watches besides the gold? Awesome but a big upcharge for a change in metal. Saw a sedna gold and a Canopus, Canopus big time stealth wealth look, was sorely tempted but couldn't pull the trigger.

They are the same movement etc. it’s no different in the uptick between a steel and PM Daytona really. That’s the same watch essentially too.

I love them, but slightly out of my league unfortunately!

I went for the Canopus and no regrets

It allows more opportunities to wear it VS sedna and I prefer the overall look

I’d be in the Canopus camp if it were on my radar

If I'm going gold Moonwatch, this is the one that does it for me. This thing is gorgeous

For me, it goes
1. Moonshine green and gold
2. Moonshine panda
3. Sedna
4. Canopus

If I had the money, I'd get all of them but I only have the money to afford steel.

This one is my favourite too!

Too bad is not available in my country or chrono24.
