Incoming : 5212

Was an unexpected purchase as the first watch in 2024 but my AD did it and delivered.

A watch that was my first choice to have as a first patek but my 5226g arrived first which was the reason for me to seek 5212 and patek even more ! Loved it. Such a versatile watch and accepts any type of straps with an amazing clou de Paris engraving that reflects lights like crazy !

6 months later I get the call for the first patek complication in the collection. 5212 weekly calendar

The opaline dial is one of the reasons i was seeking for this watch along side the simpson font ! And i strongly believe that a patek complication at this price point is a steel !

The AD purchasing experience was amazing and were gifted a nice PP cap

Few pics below with my 5226 and my friends 6119r

Congrats, stunning watches! I deeply hope they discontinue the 5212 this year.

Congrats on the 5212. Love the fact that it looks so good with different strap combinations. Waiting for the call on this piece myself.

Congrats!! just a question - How does the 5212 feeling on the wrist vs your 5226g? I have tried on a few times and always thought it was too “light”, doesn’t really give the premium feel vs like a white gold piece.yet it doesn’t have too much of water resistant to be “sporty”

Anyone feel 5212 is too light?

Its lightness being SS makes it a perfect everyday watch. It's perfectly capable to survive rain / hands washing. Gold pieces obviously feel more substantial but i wouldn't say that the difference makes you want to throw your 5212.

This watch, along with the 5235, are the best complications pieces that Patek makes.

You're not going to swim with it, keep that for your Rolex, nautilus or aquanauts.

beautiful watch congrats - 5212 has been on my radar for quite some time - now that the secondary market has softened might pull the trigger in 24.

It’s literally a “steel”, hopefully discontinued soon so we can get the appreciation curve moving up.

Looks great. Where do you get your straps? I have a 5522a that I want to put a different strap on and I am looking for direction as to where to procure unique (and quality) straps. Thank you in advance.
