...okay...Springer, SteveM, Orchi, TerryN....
....take a look at the way this 2006 Tudor D/D is presented.
....notwithstanding the probability of a Genuine??? Tudor watch being offered, it is offered with a ROLEX box, as opposed to the Tudor box. ....the later/newer Tudor watches, like this one being sold, do NOT even have the Rolex Crown...it is a Tudor Crown. Even the newer Chrony's are like this. Even the case backs NO LONGER bear the old stamped Rolex Crown and logo....it is a shield etc. ....NOW, personally, I feel that this is a misrepresentation using the Rolex box with the watch TO SELL the watch, NOTWITHSTANDING the probability that this is a Genuine Tudor watch. ...what say you all?????? Stan, I'm giving him the benefit of doubt until I hear back from him. A dealer MIGHT have placed the watch in the wrong box, but I doubt it. By the photos, I am unable to determine if the watch is genuine.

Here is the sellers response to me regarding this Rolex box:
"My Tudor, purchased in Switzerland, came in a brand new Rolex box. I don't have another watch this exspensive, nor has any swap occurred. Anyways, if you are interested, it is probably the watch you are after, not the box. Do you have a Tudor? Where did you buy it?" There you go, looks like another buyer beware sale on ebay.

I sent him a question asking for a picture of the warranty paper. Let's see what he says.

this is a TOTAL MIDREPRESENTATION!!
he is clearly tellin a lie in the discription,he states,"the only difference between this watch and a regular rolex are the emblems, they have the same case,MOVEMENT,etc.." not verbatum but close.he clearly is saying that it houses a rolex movement and this auction should be pulled!! |

Err buddies...misrepresentation aside...Orchi echoes buddy Springer's concern of the authenticity of the watch itself...
Nothing could convince Orchi that the watch could be genuine...! |
