Any reviews on a pelican 1400 case for 10 watches
I’m looking to purchase a Pelican 1400 case and configure it for 10 watches. Has anyone purchased one already pre done or done it themselves? I would like to know how do the watches fit and opinions on the case.

Pelicans are great and super easy to configure yourself. I like the 1170 for my four watches. I recommend you carefully consider the size for your needs. I like to travel with my watches and the 1170 is the perfect size for a duffle bag. Not too big. You could always get two smaller boxes for flexibility purposes. Otherwise, the 1400 is a fantastic choice. I strongly recommend it.

I cannot say I have any experience with turning a Pelican case into a watch storage solution, but I can CERTAINLY attest to the quality, durability, and overall awesomeness of Pelican cases no matter what the application.

I have a 1400 set up for 12 watches. Works perfect.

Yup, cut it out myself. I use pipe insulation for the cushions.
Here’s a really crappy pic |

The pelican cases are alright in my opinion. I feel like the foam cushions are a little harder than I would have preferred, and I don't like how the foam insert on the top of the case touches the watch face.

^ that is what provides all of the protection, though. Foam is very soft. It isn't going to do any harm...

Purchased one of these when they cost a bit less almost 8 years ago. They have various sizes and are much better looking and much nicer interals than a Pelican but still extremely strong.
