I'm hoping we have 11 (so far) very sarcastic individuals who graded this a 10/10.

Agree. Why anyone would expect significant releases or new products from Rolex is to ignore history.

Correct. Swatch are hosting their own show (starting tomorrow) called "Time to Move".

I'm not expecting anything significant. But the sub line could've used an updated movement. Instead, they keep fidgeting with the GMT line.

Oh, really? Didn't know that. This is the year Omega releases probably interest me more than Rolex.

2019 Basel Rolex release grade

Best watches released today were the Rose Daytona’s with the new Chocolate dials

Not exactly ecstatic. None of the wishes I had have been granted.

The 126710 BLNR might be of interest if it's a darker blue than the outgoing 116710 IRL. I'd probably swap the jubilee for an oyster at home. Since it's going to be impossible to get one from an AD anyway, I'm pretty confident I'm done with Rolex this year. I'm not playing the dealers scalpers game.

Just want to slightly expand on that. Swatch are hosting retailers now at their event. Apparently, Swatch will then host the media in mid-May. So we might not see anything (other than some trickling of releases along the way) until then.

Voted 1. Batman on jubilee shouldn't even count as a new watch.

Ironically, that's the best of the releases.

Not liking what I’ve seen so far from the Wilsdorf clan. I think they hired Hublot designers.

That was generous. They were from Fossil

The most underwhelming Baselworld ever. First Rolex pisses off every potential customer with the ridiculous shortage... Then this? No matter how hot is your brand, you cannot rest on your laurels as Rolex/Tudor are doing now... Someone will come to eat their lunch.

Interesting poll. It's not scientific, of course, let alone indicative of the market outside of the enthusiast niche to which this forum caters. Still, it's a pretty large sample of current members. 90% of the votes rate the releases at 5 or below, and 70% are at 3 or below. TRF-ers are definitely not pleased this year.

Agreed. Forget Rolex, Baselworld is awful this year. Disappointed that Seiko/GS did not release their watches today. Without Swatch Group Baselworlds dead. At least next year SIHH & Baselworld combining.

SD TT is the worst. The aura of the last «professional model» is gone. Bling bling here as well.

The Tudor SKX is an eyesore and answer to a question no one asked.

The Blnr is nice.

Rolex has had many strong years at Basel but this was a 1 or a 2
