Of course it's discontinued, I sold mine back in December. But I still have the BLNR with oyster and super jubilee bracelet.

The LN and BLNR on oyster are no longer on the Rolex website. Interesting for the discontinued BLNR and LN.

My LN will be the daily driver until they close the casket...then my grandson gets it....hopefully it will have a good run through a few more generations....I think it gets better looking every day

I’m very curious how the LN price will unfold. And if and how supply of blro and blnr will increase.

Don't understand the move unless it's being brought back next year with the updated movement. Now somebody looking for a classic, simple GMT will have nothing but TT or bi-colored to choose from.

Someone should buy this before the price goes up. |

When I was meeting with Rolex to try on the 2019 release (see Twitter link in signature), Rolex PR explicitly told me that moving forward, all GMTs will have bi-color bezels whereas all Submariners have monocolor (“monochromatic,” I think the right word is) bezels.

I’d buy one at that price, but it isn’t available. I think almost all sale posts now are shills. No one is selling. |

All I can say is... wow.
Unlike some I didn't have much difficulty buying the BLNR as in it was an impulse purchase at an airport 3 weeks after buying the LN, which I then planned to dispose of if I could ever get a black DayC (which is basically impossible at retail AFAICT and the second hand prices are way more than I'm willing to pay). So good day for me: 2 of my watches went vintage. To those saying there is a black Sub (date and no date) on Oyster so you don't need the LN, I deliberately bought the LN (and BLNR) because I personally prefer the PCLs to the matte oyster (YMMV). The movement in the new BLNR (and Pepsi) looks great, particularly the 72h power reserve, but I personally am not a fan of SS jubilees. I'm glad I have 2 oysters (well, 3, with the SS Daytona). |

It's a shame really. I love my LN and am happy to have owned these past 10 years, but there's no reason this model should not continue. IMHO, black bezel on oyster is the cleanest, classic, and most versatile of all GMTs, whereas the bicolor and jubilee add a degree of bling that doesn't suit all occasions. Then again, Rolex seems more interested in being unpredictable than anything else at the moment, enthusiasts be damned. |

I agree, I am a pure Rolex gmt collector for 20 years and I have looked at this and what I have seen is the Gmt become more popular than the submariner; this needed to be address by product differentiation for long term value retention and the identity of both models. This is free rolex to make many new colors including the new coke in a few years Plus other models will Move in the space like the YM Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Gmt will also move upmarket to a higher price point which is what Rolex wants. The great thing is that unlike YM and SD the GMT being such a historical model has been kept at 40 mm
This is sign that Rolex considered this model as a top tier model along with Daytona, sub and DD Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

The more bi colors the better. Coke bezel will be released I reckon next year and then hopefully followed by the Blueberry one again if they can get the colors right. |

Dam. If prices keep climbing on my LN I may sell it to fund my dream car 911 C2S.

I was at one time very close to buying a sub instead of my gmt ln just because they are so similar (only visual).
Others won’t face this problem anymore and that’s the intention of rolex I guess |

If they discontinued the LN, its value should start going up towards BLNR numbers. I'm glad I got my LN first.
