Will the D-Blue DeepSea Dial Fade
Hello all, firstly post here as I just put my name down for the 126660 deep blue Deepsea at the local AD.
I am curious if the blue and green of the dial will fade overtime. I’m asking because I personally do not think a faded dial would look good on that particular watch. If the dial will be susceptible to fading, I may be more interested in the solid black model. Thanks in advance! |

Nothing.
Everything still turns to dust. But if it's kept out of sunlight it should theoretically outlast the owner. |

No one can predict the future and say with 100% conviction that it will or it wont.
All I will say is, if it does fade, it wont be for many many years - far more than you or I will be around to worry too much about. Don't let something like that put you off buying such a wonderful reference as the D blue. Welcome to TRF btw Sent from my Moto G (5) using Tapatalk

Can't answer the long term question.
The only fading I've experienced, daily, is the fade to black.. |

Hard to predict. Maybe decades of UV exposure from the sun, but who knows. Would not be a concern in my opinion.

if it fades, which it probably wont, you can get a new dial in 30 years. Not sure why you would be concerned with an unlikely situation decades in advance.
Im currently house shopping and that is the equivalent of me trying to choose a house based on where ocean levels will be in 100 years as i wouldn't want my great, great grandkids in my house that is now under the ocean. But i guess the watch would still work
