Icon10 Incoming: 15202ST

After tons of searching, my new AP 15202ST arrived today. Took the stickers off and got it sized. Fits like a glove. Proportions are just perfect. Amazing finish and detail. Registered it and got the 5-year warranty. Bought sight unseen and it did not disappoint. The yellow gold one is very nice too. Maybe later on...

Thanks everyone. I usually keep most watches for only 6 months to 1 year because I get bored easily. But this one is a keeper.

No wait time. I cut the line. I couldn’t get on any realistic list. All boutiques said they weren’t getting anymore this year, that the list is extremely long, that even if they put me on that it’s only a “wishlist” and that it doesn’t guarantee a watch since they don’t even know how many they will get in 2019, and that they weren’t taking any deposits because of that. So I found the right specimen (brand new 2018) and paid a reasonable premium for it. It was worth it for me. Perhaps it’s we’re in a bubble, or maybe they’ll produce a million pieces next year. But at least I have it now, and can enjoy with without wasting time thinking about how, when, or if I can get one. Tomorrow is not guaranteed. It’s the only piece I really wanted at the moment. Now I can just concentrate on making more money :)

Very nice, congratulations!

I am handing mine over to its new owner today. I had trouble sleeping last night over it. I am worried that I will miss it, and it'll be hard to acquire back. My rule of one in and one out, limiting myself to 4 has forced me to make very tough choices. But I also think the new incoming will make me very happy soon.

I like your thinking and decisiveness.

congrats on getting an amazing piece..........that 15202, along with a Rolex PM Daytona, are my 2 grail pieces.
It looks like you have both of those watches, so enjoy!

Thanks again. Very happy with the acquisition. Very surprised at how good it feels and looks on the wrist. Simple, but yet so eloquent akin perfection. Will look to add an ALS Datograph and Patek 5990 to complete the collection at some point.

Here’s a couple more shots:
