Grand Seiko Hi-Beat Diver vs Rolex Deep-Sea ?
Looking for opinions from owners of both and hopefully both at the same time?
GS SBGH257 and Rolex 126660-0002 1. Wrist balance 2. Detail, look, feel... My collection is Rolex heavy so looking to expand. |

the two five five and the two five seven hi-beats with the hobnail dials are two of the only GS's that use gold in the indicies. the two five seven is a great watch but suffers in the bracelet and clasp areas. construct well below its price point... but if you can find one for a reasonable price, it would definitely be worth it.

Considering I just said in another thread that I wasn't keen on a similar multi facetted case, I've decided I quite like it.

I have owned both and only have the DSSD JC left in my collection. I liked the Seiko and thought it wore well but did not think the dollar value for what it was matched well. At a significantly reduced price I could see having it in the collection.
