Domed Crystal (Help)

I am trying to find a list of all Panerai references that have a domed crystal... or at least as comprehensive as I can get. I am interested in joining team Paneristi at some point with a rugged watch that I can bang around. Any advice would be much appreciated.

There's the 233, 127, 217, 289, 368, 270, 335, 275, 311, 317, 345, 212, 213, 253, 286, 422, 423, 276, 306 and finally the 396 I believe. I'm not sure if I missed any though.

I personally would recommend the 233. It has pretty much everything you would want in a watch.

Domed sapphire is the way to go... it is one of the unique features of Panerai I really appreciate... and note, domed sapphire is different than Plexy; also on many Panerai.

Most domed sapphire are on 1950 luminor cases; I enjoyed the 233, 317, and 368

The domed sapphire provides a nice distortion on the dial

I felt the kind of "domed" crystal OP asked about is specifically like the one shown in pic Zyfon provided above, super dome. If that were the case a lot of these models you named dont quite fit that profile. 375 yes. But at the minimum 720, 721, and many of these other Radiomirs simply have "raised" glass (in either plexi or sapphire) with a bit more pronounced curvature. I've owned a 720 and compared to my 127/375 I certainly wouldn't call the Rad's plexi glass "domed".

We can let OP clarify which type of domed glass he is really after.

To add to the super domed crystal models for OP, 690 (it's a 1940 case), and 617/629 (DLC case)

Have a venti myself (2, actually), buddy. Again, what I said, if you actually read, was these aren't the same kind of domed crystal that came on the likes of 233, which Zyfon showed. Nice pam collection.

I know what you mean buddy, and obviously they are not the same, but for example the cristals from the 127 and the 375 aren't the same too but both are domed cristals, the same with 448, 449 ("more domed" than others) etc and 720, 722, 2020... ;) There are different types of domed cristals, that's all...
