FSOT: Rolex GMT Master - 16700 - U Serial - Tritinova Dial
As the title states, for sale is this Rolex 16700, GMT Master. This watch is pre-owned and was clearly a daily driver. This watch is all original and has marks consistent with a well-worn watch of this vintage. Timegrapher has it at +9 seconds per day. Service history is unknown; the watch runs well but based on the feel of the wind and the age of the watch, a service is advisable.
This is a watch only sale. As you can see in the photos, this is a “tritinova” transitional dial; late U serial where the dial reads, “Swiss T<25” but the markers are luminova. For some reason, it photographs more blue, but the color of the luminova is definitely strongly green, as it should be. The 78790 bracelet has the stretch of a 25-year old daily driver, with 501B end links. $11,939 by direct wire. Price includes direct, insured overnight shipping (FedEx) anywhere in the CONUS. I can accept PayPal from buyers with references, as well, but please add 3%. I will entertain trade offers up or down for modern Rolex, but please understand that trade value is less than retail value; my aim is to profit on the watches that I sell.
