Rolex Airking 14000M "the blue Explorer"
HI there,
I am new to this forum, and I am looking forward to learn more about some of the Rolex models, that I like. My next purchase might be the Airking 14000M . I would like to know, when the Airking 14000M with " the blue explorer dial" , was produced. In other words: When did Rolex start to product the 14000M with this exact blue dial, and what year did they stop producing this model again? If you have a link to Rolex page similar to Breitlingsource., where all the models are decribed with produktion year , movement etc , I would be thankful. regards Henrik |

I thought that that dial pretty much spanned the entire run of the 14000M, and even into the 114200.

Chrono 24 has examples from 1990 through until 2007 - this is consistent with the information in the link provided by telesquire. Make sure you look to try one on prior to purchase. They are quite small watches and to my mind are one of the least inspiring of Rolex options. At that size I would recommend the earlier Airing-dates, Oysterdates or the manual wind 6694s (of which there are many for sale and which are excellent watches). Good luck with your search.

The 5- and 6- digit AirKings with 3-6-9 dials are excellent and accessible. At 34 mm diameter the cases will be at home especially on a wrist <7 in. The 6-digit versions wear slightly larger because of the more "modern" format. Best wishes
