I work in Aerospace and bought myself a Speedmaster Sapphire Sandwich when I earned my masters, seemed appropriate and the speedy has always been a favorite.

I can't get enough of my 126610LV, and also have a DateJust 41 rhodium with smooth bezel for a dressier look. The LV doesn't look super great with a suit, but who cares! Have not tried wearing it to Court though.

Interestingly I did not get into Rolex until 2021, which as we all know was unfortunately the worst time to get into Rolex. I do not have any family Rolex stories to share, but hope to be the first of my family to create one. The brand embodies a lot of the attributes that I hold dear -- heritage, innovation, toughness, adventure, and accomplishment. When I look at my sub, I am reminded of the Deep Sea Special which took a trip to the Mariana Trench with the Trieste, and the amazing work and dedication that it took to get there. This is what I am wearing -- a legacy of what came before.

I am also reminded of what others have imparted on me. It is not about being the fastest, but being steady, "tough and competent", just like NASA Mission Control during the Apollo days.

A degree in engineering is the mental equivalent to navy seal training. I’m sure the training helped you even if the diploma doesn’t
