RSC in Beverly Hills Service Time?

Greetings,

I dropped off my Datejust 41 last week at the Rolex service center in Beverly Hills due to the watch running fast. I was quoted 700 dollars for an overhaul and the agent I was dealing said about a 8-10 week turnaround time.

My question is does the turnaround time at the RSC in Beverly Hills is faster than what you initially get quoted or is it on point with what was their estimate?

Who here had their watch serviced post-pandemic at the RSC in Beverly Hills?

Thanks in advance.

Typically what they quote you is close to what it ends up taking. Wouldn’t be surprised if they send your watch to Dallas RSC for service and then send it back to BH for pick up.

How fast was it running?

Any reason why the BH RSC will send it over to Dallas for an overhaul on a Datejust 41?

Most ADs will send the watch to either Dallas RSC or New York RSC but I’m not entirely sure what Beverly Hills will do

It would be consistently over 4 seconds a day. It was averaging around .5 to a little over 1 second a day prior.

The convivence of dropping the watch off and returning to pick it up when completed is nice. Not an option with me, so I contact Dallas RSC and send the watch to them. Seems like a long time for a service overhaul but I do not know what that entails or the age and condition of the watch. It always seems like it takes forever for watches to return and my patience is not the best but it will get here and be right. Let us know how your experience is and how the watch does once returned.
