Speedy Prof availability?

Good day everyone just wondering if the situation is the same in your area about the speedy prof with hessalite glass availability? I went to check my local ADs and unfortunately it is on waiting list since a lot of people are getting it due to possible discontinuation of the 1861 movement? Thanks

I just checked Jomashop (I've gotten good deals on Omegas there in the past) and they indicate in stock with 11% discount. I bought mine BNIB used quite a few years ago, the new presentation box version, and you could find them all day long for around $3k. No question they're a lot more expensive now. I wasn't aware they were planning on discontinuing the movement.

Yes. They have an update to the 1861. 3861 with co-axial escapement otherwise pretty sure the same. Along with this it will be a Master Chronometre movement.

Omega has not made an official announcement that 1861 will be discontinued. Right now, it’s all speculation but it will most likely happen. Most people are speculating 2021 for the announcement.

Yeah both ADs said the same thing about possible discont. Of the 1861 since omega wanted to move all collections with master chronometer standard. Apparently the one with 1861 mvt is becoming collectible now.

It could be region base? Due to lockdowns what-not. Maybe try TRF sellers or Topper Jewelers in California?

This is interesting to me. When I got mine in early 2018 every AD had them in the case and most of the Trusted Sellers here had them with deep discounts. I think paid around $3500 NIB. I was wearing it this weekend!

The Speedy Pro Hesalite is *not* discontinued.
Those are only rumours.
The watch is readily available from many shops, and more importantly simply "in stock" at omegawatches.com

They are far more than rumors when trusted major commercial podcasts are stating that this will happen perhaps as soon as this year.

It also has not been fully in stock on omegawatches.co.uk over the last few months, in fact its showing out of stock now. Picked mine up recently as I had always wanted one and couldn't be happier. In fact prefer it to my SS Daytona.
