Nice review and a beautiful piece. (My personal grail watch.) I didn't know the entire assembly was all W/G...thanks JJ!

i have a question:
does anyone know how much gold is used in this watch?
how many ounces of gold?
with gold trading at 1110 dollars an ounce, i am wondering if this
watch is worth the 13k +/- premium over a new ss sub.
is it "worth its weight in gold" ?

Great review on a great watch.
Though I still prefer the blue hue of the previous gold and TT Subs date, I must admit this is an amazing looking watch, very impressive to look at with its Super case, and being full gold made you get astonished when you handle its weight and feel all that gold in your hands.
Congrats for your addition to your collection and enjoy in good health!
Very cordially, Abel

I love that bezel - I know it's different from the original blue but it really *pops* out when amongst all its other relatives in the AD cases.

Great review!

Outstanding piece...
If I had to have "ceramic" anything, it would be this piece.
Congratulations on a stunning ROLEX !
