Unfortunately missing out this year as mine is celebrating it with the service techs. Can they finish with it already!

I had a 5320 which I loved…but I have since upgraded. I think I’m done with attack perpetuals. This one you can set any element any time without risk to the watch, and everything is set via the crown, except one hidden lever for the month, no pushers, no stylus. Massively more impressive horology.

5320 took about 30-45 mins or so, it wasn’t a rapid change.

I don’t own any perpetuals so curious: does the date wheel/etc. jump instantly forward 3 days? Or one by one in rapid succession

Assuming non-leap year:

Around 9.45pm on 28 Feb (actual date), the date progresses to 29 Feb (date on dial).
2.jpg

Around 10.27pm on 28 Feb (actual date), the date progresses to 30 Feb (date on dial).
3.jpg

Around 11.45pm on 28 Feb (actual date), the date progresses to 31 Feb (date on dial).

The date switches to 1 Mar at around 12.18am.

Depends on the brand. On the Journe, month day and date all snap forward instantly, all at the same time.

And on the Lange 1 where everything is instant and simultaneous. Of course Patek also makes instantaneous and simultaneous perpetuals - 5207 is an instantaneous perpetual, Tourbillon and a minute repeater.

I'm not familiar with Lange but is your watch showing Dec 1? The question was for 28 Feb to 1 Mar, what's the changeover like.

Does Journe's PC change over from 28 Feb to 1 Mar instantaneously?

I think it's easier with a video but I'm more a photo man.
