Own a model 3, and was pretty skeptical. 3 years later, can't image going back to gas for many reasons. For road trips, supercharger network is reliable. Around town 300 miles is more than enough per day. Minimal maintenance, lower insurance (for me), 0-60 in 3.2 seconds. So much fun to drive, everyone seems to be standing still. One pedal driving. Tech is updated on the software side every few weeks. Absolutely love it.

For reference, my prior car was a '16 gt350

Its worth the extra expense IMO.
used 5 and 7 series lower mileage BMWs are going for less than used Toyotas these days on auction sites. Strange times.

I like BMW and Mercedes cars but in a choice of a used Beemer or Merc and a new Toyota I would take the new Toyota every time. They are a quality product and cheap to service whereas Prestige vehicles have the same number of faults and failures as anything else and cost three times as much to fix. Used vehicles are always a gamble and usually ready for some serious money to be spent on them.

Biggest problem so far is it dumped oil in my garage. The service dept said, "this is the largest oil leak we have ever seen on a new truck". This was week #2, they kept it 10 days. Two days after getting it back, two pins that hold the rubber gasket around the door/b pillar broke, making it hard to close the driver's door. They were able to get the part in a day, so just the inconvenience of driving to dealer ship and waiting an hour for them to repair it.

Hopefully, all the kinks are worked out now. This is still way better than the '22 Tundra I had! Literally my first 33 days of ownership it was in the service dept. I lost track but roughly 60 days in the shop in 7 months....any questions as to why I traded for another brand!

I have an F-350, but it's a '16 not a '23.
