Top 10 selling vehicles in the world 2023

Informative.
Ironically, the inventor of #1 also leads the top 10 space launch systems, SpaceX…

I used to own a 1993 Toyota Camry. Does that count? No? Didn't think so.

Currently own a Lexus, but that's not on your list.

Hold on….there is no way Tesla is churning out more volume of the Model Y than the F150 or Silverado….confusion ensues….

It is due to chip shortages in the beginning of the year.
Tesla won this contest by default.

Top 10 selling vehicles in the world 2023

When I lived in Pennsylvania, it was always hard for me to believe that the F-150 was such a huge seller. I saw them, but not to the point where anyone would assume they were a top seller.

That changed when I moved to Florida. They’re everywhere down here. Literally everywhere.

Light Trucks, SUVs, Pickups outsell 'cars' 4 to 1. Tesla's market share is around 4%, so is Subaru's. Most vehicles sold through April are F150s. Tesla is climbing, at number 4 through April. Overall US units sold to date April 2023 are outpacing same period 2022.

It makes you wonder will Tesla ever be able to compete in the light pickup category?

Per Ford President 85% of people ordering Ford Lightning have never owned a pickup before.

Most people dont care about cars. These are utilitarian vehicles, just point A to B transportation. If anyone makes a little money they usually upgrade their vehicle. Its because you spend alot of time in your vehicle. Id honestly rather buy a used lexus or mercedes over a brand new Toyota. Repairs and maintenance is alot but they are better riding vehicles. Its worth the extra expense IMO.

Kinda shocked the Honda Accord isn't on there. I remember when it was #1.
