Driving habits or superstitions?
I'm sure we all have superstitions or "must do's" while we are driving.
For me, it is the ignition key. Every car key i've owned , has had the "logo" on one side of the key. It is imparative that this logo be facing UP, while in the ignition. I know it works equally well facing down, but I always make sure it's logo side up What are some of the things you guys/gals do?

I have no superstition, but I have a habit of "clicking" the release button of the emregency brake of my car while driving.
BTW this habit stems from the fact that my car is a manual transmission. I always have the e-brake engaged when I park my car.

Seems to me that's more of a necessity, Steve. If you don't light the fire, you're never going to get off the ground.

Check the tires, feed the hamster, pull the starter cord.

When I drive my wife's car, I don't worry about which side of the key is up. The key stays in my pocket and I just push the Start button on the dash.
I do have a habit with my car. My car has automatic headlights that stay on for 30 seconds after you get out of the car. When the lights have been on while driving (e.g., at night or in a parking garage), I always click the remote locking button twice to shut the lights off. I never click only once when the lights are on. I'm always afraid the lights will stay on and drain the battery.

I walk around the vehicle looking for exposed wires, hand prints someone may have left, and anything that the manufacturer didn't put there.
