Can't afford the real thing. Which is the best Rolex clone out there? MarcelloC, Steinhart, etc. By best I mean a hearty timepiece which will last for years. No need to take into account things such as best bang for the buck or customer service. Although these traits are welcome, I'm looking for the finest manufactured watch. Thank you for the input. The Marcello is a great watch, built like a tank; time is dead on and it looks VERY nice. If you have never held one in person you will know EXACTLY what I am talking about if you get one. They are rock solid. Not to mention I don’t see too many around which makes them a bit more attractive in my book. You could get another brand however, I believe the Marcello have its own personality. Ever since I got my Rolex my Marcello just doesn’t see any wrist time.

A Tudor watch would be a great choice. It is made by Rolex, and would make a perfect entry to the family.

Thank you for the recommendations toward the Tudor. This is why I'm looking at other options (than Tudor). I would love to get the Tudor Sub, however they are incredibly difficult to find these days. It has been a frustrating endeavor and I've just about given up.

(anyone have one they want to get rid of?)

The Timex one that looks like the Sub 14060 (or is it the SD). About 50 bucks and you can barely tell.

The Marcello is awesome.

They introduced a new version just recently. I think it looks great.

Seems like all the Rolex clones including Steinhart which I have has a poor magnification. The date font alos looks thinner.

My Invicta 9937 has a bulletproof Swiss ETA movement, sapphire crystal, display back, waterproof to 200 m, and solid, heavy SS construction for under $300.00 on eBay.

I wouldn't bother with the cheaper version with Japanese movement and mineral crystal.

Try a TigerShark. It's from a company out of Minnesota. About $300. I really like mine. The customer service is first rate. Talk to David Harrington. He is the engineer behind the watch.

My Grovana is 42mm. Cost Au$450.

My Robert Poseidon is 39mm. Cost AU$300.

Both are "Grovana" made as is Steinhart.

Excellent value for money and I can wear them to work and leave my Sub on the winder.

Pick a bezel and face colour.
