Planet Ocean is no more <sniff>

I sold my Planet Ocean... it is no more. After days of contemplating, I can't have two Omegas so decided to sell it off.

Financial constraints also pushed me to do this... just bought a new mini van so downpayment was required.

Boy that decision was tough!

Sorry to hear that, Vernon....but it's good for you that you were able to get rid of it. OMEGAs, Breitlings and TAGs are real hard-case sellers!!

Just keep looking down at your beautiful SD and you will quickly forget the PO!!

Hello JJ

Yeah, got lots of offers and another canuck paid me for what I bought it for so basically broke even.

Yeah, no need for a PO if I have the SD already.

how?!?!?!

im taking a mike tyson style hit and still not getting any offers?!
its a great watch, but to me it was a head buy and not a heart buy- i think thats the difference for me tween omegas and rolex/panerai- they are more clinical and efficient... and better value.... but i want a radiomir210!
(the same price for manual wind with no second or date function, let alone being 600m water resistant and having a co-axial movement

Yup sometimes it hurts to sell, hope you don't miss it too much. But priorities in life are important. At least you have a (hopfully) nice mini-van.

Just be glad that you had something of value in that investment. if you bought a laptop with the funds instead of a watch you may not be getting so much back on it.

Yeah, true Robert.

Sam, I placed my watch in TZ and ebay and sold the day after. Lots of emails flowed the next day for inquiries etc. What made it sell was due to the fact that the intl warranty card was stamped by the AD, but not dated nor has the buyer's name.

I also believe that 45mm (not sure if yours is a 45mm) sizes are not big sellers compared to 42mm... heck, when I tried to sell the Steinhart 42mm GMT got lots of inquiries and it did not sell since it was too big on their wrist.

Nah, won't miss it much. I just wish I had more funds to keep it as it has the co-axial movement. Ah.. watches comes and go.

I needed the mini-van more - Honday Odyssey EX-L, 2007 model.

Yes half the price, but may not sit well on most people's wrist?
