Panerai 312 question

Hi
I'm now the proud owners of a PAM312 after many years of envy. I'll post some pics soon but i noticed something and hoping you could help me. The REG. and T.M....can you please confirm if its engraved with or without white paint? I noticed the G has little marks within the G so i'm not sure if its just dirt or if it was painted white within the letters that the G is missing some white paint. Hope my explanation is ok...but yeah will post some pics soon

it's a "feature" of the 1950 case models (contemporary & historic).

Right as usual

I like the fact that on the 127 the crown-guard's flipped over... Unfortunately I don't have a 127... sniff ... but I do have a 1950 crown-guard

Should be no paint. I have seen them appear black because of grit getting into the grooves.
