Very Rare Omega Speedmaster Mission Series Apollo 8 manufactured in 200 unnumbered copies on the occasion of the fortieth anniversary of the cooperation of the Omega brand and NASA in space exploration.

They were marked in the face of the second logo of a Gemini, Apollo and Skylab and delivered in a box bearing the material covering the spacesuit.

This particular watch represents the first manned spacecraft to leave Earth's orbit and reach the Moon. The Apollo 8 patch is a lovely design and has been placed on the face of the watch The general shape of the logo reflects the shape of the Apollo command module, and is roughly the shape of the "A" for Apollo. The red "8" denotes both the mission number, and the circumlunar trajectory of the mission. The last Apollo 8 missions watch sold for $6,600 this year.

The speedmaster is in quite good shape. It was fully serviced on 2/9/2016 at an Authorized Omega Service Center. Parts from maintenance are included, repair paperwork is also available.

The watch has been worn since service, so there is modest wear on the case. Please review pics for condition.

The bracelet is not original to the watch, it is offered with a 1998 which I find is one of the most comfortable bracelets made for this watch. The bracelet has marks from normal wear.
The box is not original to the watch, it is a spacesuit box for omega for a X-33 mission but fits this watch quite well.
