What FEATURES do you look for in a watch?

Hi guys,

Simple question...for example, some of us couldn't care less about the date or a Chrono function or even a second hand.

Me? All I want is a watch with 3 hands, the second hand must be large...not one of those little thingys farting around at 6 o'clock, must have a date, a screwdown crown and be a Rolex. The cyclops is welcome. Yes, I love it, but I also love the SD without one. Not interested in any additional complications 'cause I never use them.

What features do you look for and want in your watch?

JJ

JJ and Daren tried that once, but the AD just gave them paper bags with a little clock on the inside. When they put the bags over their faces to see the time, the women loved it.

Unlike you, JJ, I look for anything and everything. Day, date, month, year, chrono, moon phase, slide rule. Why that describes my Breitling Olympus to a Tee. How about that!!
The only thing it doesn't have is a 24 hour hand (for a second time zone) and a power reserve indicator. Those features would make it just about perfect.

Um, the ones in the um.... ballet. They certainly can not only spot the difference, but can tell the diff between a fake and genuine Rolex.

If I needed all those features, I would stick with my GPS. That baby is remarkably accurate. and I don't have to set it
But I like my watch to tell the time, possibly the date ( good feature on holidays lol) and look good doing it.

I like one that is not seen on many wrists at all!! That is a biggie, also one that starts in P and ends with I is usually a good thing. Good glow at night is important.

Most of all I like having some individuality to my watches, that is a good thing.

I like the ballet. Especially the ones where they let you give them dollar bills for a good performance.

Nothing shows appreciation like sticking a dollar bill in a chic's crotch with your teeth
