Major incoming

no, not a black ceramic RO perpetual. Lol. Couldn’t resist. So wish they made .5 rather than 1.5 as it’s such an eye sore. Anyways, came in around 2 months rather than the stated 4 month window at order date. I’m still in disbelief that this model came with a short bracelet. It comes about 6.75 if you ask me. My wrist is 6.5. So final setup is two links out, but the 1.5 added in. It’s perfect now. Cost with tax was about $280

Ugh - beautiful watch, don't get me wrong, I have the grey 26315 - but wow yeah the 1.5er is not pretty - it thought it was slightly smaller, too. Looks almost like 2 regular links lol. I have it on order as well. Have 3 links out atm, but wanted to get to 2.5 for spring time. 6.2" wrist.

Anyway, let's enjoy the watch.

Great watch — love that AP is making 38mm ROCs — love my 39mm.

It is the perfect size IMO.

If SIHH wasn’t right around the corner I’d have already added the same one!!

Congrats!!

This watch is so stunning.

I keep hearing people say the AP movement isn't good or too fragile or issues with the date or whatever. No idea what most people do with their watches but I assume it can handle regular day day anything.

Wow, that is a beautiful watch...and the 1.5 doesn't bother me at all. Well done!

Out of all the 38mm models, I think this one easily looks the best. Congrats and wears it in great health.

Guys somehow the pictures got reordered when I created this. Already did an “incoming”. The thread was a joke that my major incoming was a 1.5 link lol. Of course, you are all too kind. Loving this piece. It’s like the perfect size for me.

I was wondering why people were congratulating on the same watch.

Must admit I really think the 1.5 link spoils the cosmetic appearance of the watch and not sure I could use one. I agree, I'd have thought a half link would look less obvious. This is one of the down factors, for me anyway, of the RO bracelet, that there is no way to micro adjust it to fit perfectly in the first place and then adjust it between cold and hot temperatures.

I have this issue with my 26331IP and 15500. Both fit nice and snuggly when I'm hot but when cold they move around like a 'bracelet' and fall onto my hand, which is very annoying.

Beautiful piece, congrats!

The 1.5 link does look strange. Makes sense that a .5 would be better.

I’d try the 2 links back, maybe wrist expansion would cover the slack.

It is a bit of an eyesore, luckily you don't look at it often.
