Question for AP owners in Belgium?

Hi guys, where did you buy your AP since we have no official dealers in Belgium? I tried contacting dealers in NL but they don’t accept new people on the waiting list.
What was the strategy you guys used? I know contacting them by mail might give the wrong vibes, should I just jump in the store and show my interest? 6 hour drive just for that?

Almost impossible if you are trying to get a SS Royal Oak 15xxx in Holland. No boutiques in the low countries, just a few poorly stocked ADs.

Try the boutiques in Frankfurt or Paris.

If you’re after a hot watch, this will be impossible to get as you don’t have an established relationship with a boutique or AD. If you’re after a watch that trades at a discount, better buy grey...

To have tested it, I recommend the AP store in Paris Rue Royal. Welcome and great attention to your desires.
I wanted to offer myself for my 55 years, in July 2021, my first AP. I hesitated between a 15450, a 15202 and a 15500. I was able to try the 3, in blue (15450 and 15500 during my first visit, for the 15202 I had to wait 2 months for them to receive one. ). The 15500, too big for my wrist, the 15450 almost perfect ... and the 15202 really perfect for me.
I was ready to "reserve" a 15450 because of the shorter deadline. The advisor, who is really attentive and a watch enthusiast like me, told me not to hesitate and take a 15202, so as not to regret, that he would do his best so that I could have it. for my birthday.
That was in September 2020.
According to the latest news, even with the Covid crisis, the deadline should be maintained ... :-)

That's impressive! Although, with the recent explosion in demand/premium, I would be pleasantly surprised if the same result could still be achieved starting now, rather than 8 months ago.

I'd be lucky ... when I got it on my wrist. At the moment these are just promises.
