Also went burgundy.

I tried the first card, got the 2FA text to my phone put it into my bank's popup screen - response 'declined - busy try later'. Never seen that before in the years of using this card. Tried same card again - got another text, used the code, this time it was rejected (probably anti fraud measures of two attempts in a row of same value from Malaysia). Gave up on that card and tried a different one... success! If not I would have been running short of time to try another one.

Although no email confirmation yet, I have a screenprint of the order saying that I'll get a confirmation.

These are not going to be very rare in the end, as if they had sold 300 yesterday in under two minutes and kept up the same pace of orders for 10 mins today, there are going to be thousands out there once they get round to building them next year. But watch looks nice, and if I don't like it they do have a returns policy.

According to their IG story they said they had 2K orders total and arent doing more than that. Not sure if that was a complete mistake but its there.

I failed to pay 7 or 8 times, with numerous cards. On the 8th minute, my transaction finally went through. I am very happy with Ming's success (more so, since he is a friend) and for also putting us on the map!

Probably will end up being 3k when people find a credit card that actually is accepted and the order is processed

I’m looking forward to visiting KL again. Nice people and amazing food. And the independently adjustable hour hand will be the next best thing to a GMT for travel.

I like that they will be actively canceling bot/flipper orders. If you didn’t get in - apparently they are taking a waitlist.

<MING 17.09 BLUE - 10MIN BATCH (DEPOSIT)

Time limited batch closed now. If you'd like to be added to the waitlist in the event of flipper or bot cancellations, please e-mail us here. (hello@ming.watch)>

They claim according to their IG - that’s total production including the prior two days worth of orders.

Mine in the 4900s, went through at about 8 minutes past (still no email confirmation after hour and a half).

Quite like the idea of having a 'cult' watch, though no doubt some other semi-microbrand will be trending by the time they actually build and ship them.

I’m not sure they started at 1. But I don’t doubt they sold a bunch. I like the watch and see this as buying in to get on the prior customer list too. But those looking to flip probably aren’t maximizing value on this one. Plus then you are potentially banned from Ming.

My transaction was pleasingly smooth today after the frustration of yesterday. All confirmed and done within 1 minute. My number is in the 3600s. I went for blue.

Will be interesting to see the split between blue and burgundy. I think the latter seems more popular. I too bought in so it gives me access to future releases. I love what they are doing

I got the burgundy with order number in the low 4000s.

Really hope we can get our watches in march!

Interesting now they opened up the flood gates - so I wonder now how the pre-sale for prior customers will go with this many more people in the pot... 10 second sell outs lol.

Not that Instagram is a reliable source for statistical information, but most of the Blue vs Burgundy polls I've seen were nearly split down the middle, which is not what I expected!

Agreed - I would have thought blue would have stole the show.

I got in this morning for the blue version after loosing out yesterday. Was worried since I had to do the transaction on my iPhone with 5G since I had no access to WiFi since I was out on the road. All went smooth and credit card cleared on first try. Order # in the 4100s group.

Really like the watch, maybe a little sucked in by the hype and the challenge to get one

Found it hard to choose a between the two colours, but I bagged a blue one.

Order no in the 4500’s. Now the wait

Is the order position the first or last 4 digits in the order number?

I was lucky enough to secure a blue piece within the first couple of minutes.

It will be the last 4 digits I believe. Mine was 36's from yesterday and other than getting a 404 page initially everything else went smoothly

I called Citibank to release a fraud alert that this transaction generated and the CS rep was like ohh yeah I’ve had many people calling about Ming. Hahaha. Must have been a lot of people in the queue.

Managed to get in on the burgundy with 30 seconds to go..

Just out of curiosity, where are people seeing their order confirmation number? All I got was a transaction summary email and that follow up from customer service several hours later with a thank you and more about manual order consolidation in the coming days. The former email only included an "Auth Code" number and "Reference" number that included digits but also letters towards the end.

Trying to figure out my order number as I imagine I would've been one of the last few, to gauge how many pieces they'll end up making!

Also, first ever post on Rolex Forums!

Next time use a Chase card! 😂 The typical visa authorization screen popped up and then the transaction went through without a PIN number text or anything.

In my order confirmation email the title was “Order 2017-xxxx confirmed” where xxxx was the order number. I understand that existing owners ordering on the first day had numbers starting 33xx, then 300 releases the following day, so I think my order number of 36xx is one of the earlier ones for the final day. With Ming saying that the got around 2000 orders in total, that suggests to me that the last orders will be in the 55xx or so...
