Amazing video and watches, funny how the 8 pieces are all tonneau shaped...

Unfortunately I couldn't see Roger's new RM11 when I met him in Hong Kong because he refused to take the risk of wearing 2 or more watches at the same time since I also wanted to see the 5270R. But I did saw something similar, the Machini version of RM11 in gold as well in a local AD. The finishing is really top class. Have to say I am tempted. But I'll wait next year and also when my bank account allows.

I was just following instructions Ben! Even in super safe HK I prefer not to carry around multiple very valuable watches that I am not wearing!

No problem Roger. Just kidding. Next time I will visit your bank vault to see your entire collection.

Ben, Ben...we NEED you to buy something this year! Clock is ticking on our bet and I'm starting to get worried

I'm glad you were able to try on the RG--it has a great presence to it for sure.

A fun RM incoming for me today...but not what you think.

Very interesting indeed! I had heard horror stories, which have proven to be unfounded I am pleased to say. In house movement as they promised or still Vaucher?

What amused me most about your photo was that there was I in the background, scrutinising a 5074P, 5216R and a 5207R Pateks - three of the all time great high end Pateks - and you couldn't take your eyes of the Mancini and were totally disinterested in the Pateks!

WOW! Thanks Edo!

MUCH better than what I heard as well.

Thank goodness more evolutionary than revolutionary to original 011. Has a 035 flavor to the case.

There is a great comparison tool of old and new on RM site now. http://richardmille.com/watch/rm-11-03/

#1 at my AD already...let the games begin :-)

More details when you have a minute.
The model will be officially unveiled on the 4th of September, at 3rd edition of Chantilly art & élégance

It's already on the site with lot of details...

http://richardmille.com/watch/rm-11-03/

Also think it's much better than expected.. some info was that they completely change the watch, and this looks like a natural evolution... and a good one...

Yes a great evolution, but I reckon the base is still Vaucher, so no move to in-house. This might mean that the no doubt ludicrous price increase will be slightly more palatable!

I'm perfectly fine with that. I do love the new rotor design.

Just showing another shot in different metal. Hear first pieces will be Ti, RG and NTPT soon after. Suppose to hit channel by Christmas or sooner (depending upon location). However, also was just told don't be surprised to see in 2017. So hopefully get clarification during launch on 4th.

Another home run for RM.

WOW, I was right, exact same case size as new 035-02. Just 3mm taller.

011-03 -- 49.94 x 44.50 x 16.15 mm
035-02 -- 49.94 x 44.50 x 13.15 mm

Case - Love the case... at first I hated Nadal 35-01 case, throught they ruined the original toneau, but love it now...

Crown - too much color for Ti/Gold models... don't know about size... seems bigger...

Tachy scale - love the little steps and 3D effect... prefer the neutral white more than green... don't know yet about dots of 011 vs triangles of 011-03.

Hands lume - not much change, both are good...

Pushers - good move of start/stop and flyback writing on the case... don't love yellow color but they are great...

Big date - looks good, the flag of 011 have more racing DNA... but this one looks good too...

Chronos - love the design and presence of color like the 011-02...

So, I think that some limited editions will be more than amazing... and still 011 can live separately as a watch for itself... the 011-03 didn't kill him :)

I think the full RG is my preferred of the initial two variants.

Shocking

Think NTPT will be amazing as well.

Ti is hard to beat for good all around.

After spending some time on the site, I too think it is a fantastic evolution.

A very exciting time to be a fan of RM.

AND...looks like solid RG on sides vs RG with Ti (excluding Ivory edition) on current RG011.

Interesting.

I smell a nice price increase in base RG model...will post as soon as I hear anything and edo or anyone please do the same.

wow I love it. the level of detail is off the charts, and the dial has so much depth and pop.

cant wait to see it as a NTPT limited edition

Basically 035-02 case design, but w/ chrono complication, pushers, annual calendar, not to mention 3mm taller--ooooffff that's nice.

I always enjoyed my 035-01 and the wider stance of the case (but missed the complications).

Cannot express how happy I am they used the new 035-02 case design with the added 3mm height. Yummy.
