Anyone seen Panerai at an airport store?
Hi
Like to know if anyone has seen Panerai on sale, tax free at an airport. I travel USA/Carribbean/Euro airports frequently and a tax free saving would be great! Checked on their site but cannot find any. Thanks Rich |

I have been to the Dubai airport--can not remeber if they had Panerai but they had Rolex and a bunch of others! Very high end shopping there so would not surprise me if they did.

Countries participating in visitor "sales tax refunds" 1. Canada – Visitors are allowed to get the provincial sales tax (PST) portion of the purchase back, with the tax being a minimum of $50 CDN per purchase. 2. Japan – Visitors who spend more than 10,001 yen on any given day are allowed to get the 5% sales tax refunded. 3. Taiwan – Receipts showing a spending of NT$3,000 on any single day. 4. United Kingdom – European countries call it VAT (value added taxes). UK’s VAT is currently at 17.5% with the minimum amount £30 GBP to qualify. Obviously #4 doesn't help you... |

Do you only visit airports? :-)
Step outside and get some fresh air. If you can take a day to visit Barcelona, you will get extra benefits. I found a dealer who both discounted and prepared the tax refund. And, this store had the biggest collection of Panerai I have ever seen in one place! I left there with a 312! |

I was just there in November and didn't see any PAMs. I saw some decent prices on Rolex though.
I'll have to look again this summer. I did see some PAMs on the island. they have a row of shops and one place did have.

Hey Rich as a 1K+ per year air traveler and an avid watch collector I have spent many many hours killing time in airports on nearly every continent in this great world and have yet to see a Panerai for sale...sorry mate!! Good luck on the search as it can be half the fun...

I'm willing to bet my Pam 312N that they don't sell Panerai in any US airport.
