Winding question

Being a new owner of mechanical wind PAM111, I am seeking good advice for winding. According to the manual, you wind the watch gently until the crown stops. I just got my watch yesterday and I wound it until I encountered some pretty decent resistance, and then I stopped. Do I truly wind it until it will no longer wind? Also, is it best to do this daily, every other day, or in some other intervals?

I ask because I am truly a spoiled automatic watch owner who keeps his Rolex in a watch winder.

Thanks for any advice.

You did it right. The eta 6497 movement has a power reserve of about 46 hrs. So you just need to wind it before it dies. I like to wind every morning.

My PAM 177 (titanium version of 111) lasts for just under 60 hours on a full wind, approximately 100 turns of the crown. Its okay to wind all the way until it stops.

Ok, that's what I needed to know.
I'll probably wind it each morning until it stops.
I like routines, and this needs one.
Thanks again.
