SD's domineering my life, guys...

It's Tuesday here in Auckland and Dwelly refuses to let go of my wrist.

Poor Bluesy is all torn up inside the little vault. Haven't seen him in days and now miss him dearly.

I guess that would be the ONLY disadvantage of owning TWO watches, uh?

i dono but i dont like the sea dweller as much bcuz it lacks a cyclops. its a great watch... but i would rather have the sub. plus if people are aware of the sub but not SD, they'd start saying stuff like "hey. nice sub. wait that doesnt have a cyclops. hey that is fake! hey everyone he is wearing a folex"

JJ,
wait till the novelty wears off than your 1st love the TT will take over.
Are you keeping a listing of all those willing to take the SD off your hands/wrist for cheap too.

I'm still working up to my first Rolex purchase, but the SD is the one that spoke to me. I couldn't imagine having two to choose from.

it's a shame you're not into the zulu's, JJ... you could wear em both on the same strap;

The SD dominated before it went to RSC last week. However, it dominates no more than a week and the other watches get their turn on the wrist.

Today is the Chrono Avenger getting some fresh air.

Weather here is around -11 deg C right now so the thought of motorcycle riding is in the back burner until tomorrow where it will rise back up to a balmy 10 deg C.

I was actually looking at the Kawi ZX-10R... :-)

I know you said you dropped your SD off the same day I went in with the issue for mine. Did you get your's back yet? Did they say when it would be ready or give you some kind of a time line?

I went back to my AD last Friday and they're going to send mine in themselves. I got a call from RSC yesterday asking me to come back in and the aftersales manager would look at it. I told the CS girl that I already submitted it to my AD and they'll be sending it in. She said as of yesterday morning she hadn't received anything yet and that maybe they'd send it in the afternoon run.

It's 12:30pm Tuesday and I haven't heard anything yet.

I miss my SD...................

I know you said we should met, but it sounds like you'll get your's a lot sooner than I'll get mine.

If only those twits at RSC took a better look at the braclet and admitted the fault I wouldn't have my watch in between locations.

Vic, I had a friend that got comments like those for his SD. The TT blue sub just doesn't do it for me. I never like the TT black either. Sub are meant to be SS black dial tool watch.

Rolex don't issue anchors no more, Steve. That's an older one from a previous long gone Sub!!

NOT a shame, Tony. That the Lord I'm not into straps. Frankly, I hate 'em!!

The only strap I'd like is a croc strap on a very sleek dress watch like a Cellini....but I still wouldn't buy one!!

So I guess the 1200m anchor for the SD would be a collectors item?

I've been wearing a SD for about 6 years now and have yet to hear anyone comment on the lack of a cyclops... although a couple times people have asked if it was a non-date.

1220m anchor... actually.
