That R34 is really sweet. I wish we got that here. All we got is the V35 world car version of the skyline badged here as the Infiniti G35 with no R35 version avail . However Nissan is bringing the R36 to market soon and North Americans will finally get what we have long been waiting for

Yes, Aykun....steering wheel is on the right....and we drive on the left of the road....same as the UK and other Commonwealth Countries (except probably Canada).

Nice work John!!! Beauty alright!

I'd like another one of these (not my one but mine was similar, was lowered..... I had white hardtop and 16" alloys off the 1999 MX5)

Just day dreaming Alcan.... although these little cars are very affordable now, you can pick up a 1990 model for like $5000AUD.... but then I'd I want to join the club, get go faster bits and it'd never end.....

So I'll just look at the odd picture of an MX5 and leave it at that!

WOW, nice car Amanda but 1990 model one for 5000 will not smile as this one in my opinion it just depends on luck at this situation. I always buy BMW. By the way hood chains on the hood makes the white MX5 more nice.

Thats nice you always buy BMW.. in Australia they are a very expensive car and the older 3 series are a dime a dozen on the road LOTS of them here... I dont like them personally. Servicing is costly, parts also costly and insurance is therefore costly....

The little MX5 pictured is the best sports car in its class, it drives better than many other convertibles some 3x the cost of it. I'm speaking brand new here.... the MX5 HANDLES and is more fun than you can poke a stick at on a nice winding road!!!

The garage was closed, Larry. The car was sitting in the parking garage at National Airport (DCA) for the weekend. It's now back in my own garage - top down, of course.

I finally have a couple of pics of the new (used) ride. Been wanting one of these for ages. One day I saw one in fine cars dealership, fell in love on the spot and said it had to be mine....... the rest is history.

Here are just a couple of shots I took on a rainy sunday with my phone.

Apexi FC computer, Apexi pods and HKS exhaust. These mods gave me 293 kW at the wheels in 4wd at 1.15 bar. We got to 310 kW at 1.3 bar but detonation was touching 50 so left it at 1.2 bar (298 kW) for road use
Graph shows stock power on 0.9 bar before modification. 228 kW.
You can see how rich it was running (11.8 - 10.6 AFR) prior to taking fuel out with the Apexi FC (12.1 - 11.8 AFR). The timing was advanced as far as we could go on 98 RON fuel. How good is your fuel in SA.
I have done 20000km since these mods were done and it has been
