FAKE green Daytona dial

Classified add posted by user: M1nt

This 2009 yellow gold Daytona has a fake green dial (which the seller claims is worth 15k)

Just thought I’d point that out to everyone for what it’s worth

You say it's a fake dial. I say it's after-market. ;)

Aftermarket parts can't use the word Rolex nor any markings belonging to Montres Rolex SA. So the dial is "fake" or "counterfeit"

I'd want it for a bargain price for the hassle and costs to make it right. What a shame someone wanted the new hyped green one THAT badly.

this is happening with heaps of these green dial Daytona's. Better be careful who you buy these from.

thanks for pointing it out. I remember seeing the listing and the 15k dial point was a bit of a head scratcher.

FAKE green Daytona dial

Gosh, if I were in the market for one of these I would not have spotted whatever you guys spotted. That’s why I’m so scared of buying from grays and only buy from ADs always .

Agreed. Dial as fake as a $3 bill but with a 15K upcharge.

He is banned.

So, I don't want to be a jerk, but, he had been here for less than a year and had less than 100 posts. He has two bits of feedback - one as a buyer and his only feedback as a seller is from somebody with a post count of 1.

He's not someone I would have bought a watch from unless I paid by PayPal and had really solid recourse. Hopefully nobody got scammed by him.

The dude seriously posted two Daytona’s next to each other WITH OBVIOUS DIFFERENCES on the dials. It’s like he/she WANTS to tell us something is wrong. Lmao!!
