I have both and the CHNR is more unique. A two tone sub is a smaller brother to the two tone sea-dweller which i also own. I love them all but CHNR IS SPECIAL!

It’s a close call, but I’d go Root Beer over TT sub.

Of these two, the CHNR. The 126613LB would be my choice.

TT CHNR. Not even close. They updated the Bluesy so much and it's a lot more common. 99% of ppl won't be able to tell a pre-ceramic bluesy vs. the newest model except for the clasp. CHNR is a league above with the more complicated movement.

How is it more common with the update? Bluesy is hands down the most classic TT. I was trying to be nice with the CHRN, but it’s brown. Don’t get it. Many would prefer blue over brown. If you are trying to be different I get it. If they ever get rid of the brown I might be a buyer. It is not even the most popular GMT well behind Pepsi and Batman. Many other posts the bluesy always wins as the most classic TT. Very popular. I love the passion for the root beer, but it doesn’t compare to the bluesy historically or popularity.

It's a personal preference...but honesty the word "classic" is overused. DJ 36 is a classic...they are not flying off the shelves. I like the bluesy...but i wouldn't take one over the TT CHNR as i prefer the GMT function more.

So how about the other day I was thinking I wonder if they would even do a blue and gold GMT, I’ll meet you halfway that would rock.

I would definitely pick the CHNR or I would go with a SS Submariner. How about the all gold Sub - that puts you in an entirely different price range! Happy Birthday!

Perhaps...i think if the budget allows a CHNR AND Bluesy would be my perfect combo for the year. CHNR for Fall/Winter and Bluesy for summer months, but that's a lot of $$$ for now hahaha.

If you have a darker color skin tone I think the Root Beer looks fantastic. I’m pretty pale and think it looks horrid on myself, but yellow gold looks great

Going against the crowd. You don't own a submariner. Sub is more iconic than gmt. You will save a few thousand bucks by going with sub. And if you're considering the black and gold tt sub, it's more versatile than the root beer. To me it's an easy decision to go with sub.
