Rolex & Tiffany Co Collaboration in 2020

Has anyone heard the speculation around this collaboration?

If it is true, how hard do you think a GMT or Sub Tiffany will be to get for allocation?

Speculation started around official Tiffany page liking Rolex pages on IG.

Thoughts? Would you desire this piece?

a) speculation is just that.
b) if it were to happen it would be complete unobtanium to all but the biggest VVIPs.

I expect you'll be able to stroll into any AD, or any Tiffany showroom and just pick one up.

Would make a ton of sense for Tiffany’s as they are struggling like all retailers.
Rolex, however is as strong as ever

Agreed, Tiffany has lost major appeal outside of collaborations.

I’d be surprised.

My former wife worked for Tiffany and explained what she understood to be some of the inner mechanics of how they soured or otherwise lost their relationships with various collaborators over the years, including Rolex in the mid-90s, Omega, Baume et Mercier, whomever else, etc. Plus, I don’t pay much attention to Tiffany these days, but they conducted a full-scale reset of their watch collection fairly recently, if I recall correctly.

It would be cool to see that relationship revitalized tho.

My guess would be no. My guess would be whomever is managing the account for Tiffany likes Rolex and thinks it’s in line with their market.

Sure, even more crowed dials! I hope they do, that way the speculators can go after that, leaving less demand for the regular models!

Tiffany has been struggling for years, why would Rolex want to associate with that? I can see Rolex X Supreme because of Supreme ‘s hype.
