Who cares about the reference number. I don't even call this watch the Pepsi. For me, this is my Superman watch. Who was my favorite superhero growing up. I have slightly over $14K into the watch

Yeah, Mike wants my bezel for his watch

No the OEM 1.5mm wont work due to the thickness of the pins.

Wow nice work there, looks great! I’m actually thinking about changing my bezel, is not sure which MK mines is but it’s a bit on the dark side. Any leads you can share on where I might be able to source a gen bezel or even just the insert?

Having recently brought my 18038 DD back to Rolex OEM specs, I understand your rationalization on spending the money. Labor of love.

Question: will this preclude you from ever going back to RSC for service? In other words, do you think they would require you to swap out the parts back to what should have come on the watch?

Looks great! I wish swapping bezels was as easy as on the 5 digits. Does the jubilee bracelet fit without any modifications to the lug holes?

That's an interesting thought. Maybe mere mortals would be able to buy this from an AD since its not a bi-color bezel?

This is awesome work. And here I was thinking I was pretty cool for swapping the jubilee for a glidelock on my BLRO.

I can appreciate the mods made by the OP. My only issue is that sometimes I think the green script, green GMT hand LN is such a cool piece that I prefer it to the BLRO. Another thought is to pick up BLNR and swap bezel for Pepsi may be a less expensive mod, if it is easy to get the bezel. My .02.

Given the frustration finding a new SS PEPSI GMT at retail, I decided to embark on this journey after I was lucky enough to find a WG Pepsi bezel. I ended up buying a 116710LN and decided to convert it into a 126710BLRO.

I was able to source all genuine parts including GMT Dial, GMT Red Hand, and Genuine 69200 Jubilee Bracelet. Luckily everything went in without a hiccup thanks to the great guys at @Rolliworks. Mike and Sal are just great!! I am so glad that they are local and I can go bug them anytime. Their new facility is spectacular!

The watch ended up costing me more than the retail and sure it wasn't much of a savings compared to what they are selling for in the grey market, well maybe a couple of grand, but at the end of the day there is story to this watch and to me that is worth it.

On to the pictures

116234 DJ Arabic Numeral is stunning! Trying to get this one. Where did you get yours?

It's just all about health, happiness & family. The rest are just necessary inconvenience we have to deal with.

Where did you source the white gold bezel? I would love to go the same route

Very cool project! I did something similar with my 16710N, replacing the black aluminum bezel insert with an aftermarket ceramic BLRO insert. I used a Dremel tool to grind down the radius of the ceramic insert by a fraction of a millimeter to fit the stock OEM bezel.

I still have the original black insert and bezel, so can swap bezels in a few minutes and it's back to the way it came from the Geneva factory.

The advantages of the mod are the ceramic durability and the more readable font. Also, to me the Pepsi bezel is historically the classic original GMT Master color combination.

From the pictures it’s subtle but the lugs don’t look quite right. It’s a tell. Amongst others already mentioned.

i love it. Great job. Honestly, I should have done what you did and sourced a white gold pepsi bezel. Love those colors instead of this navy blue.

If you ever sell, please disclose changes.
