Nah...it's true, they are pretty tightly wound on the MWF! I for one got a warning and infraction points for asking if it was safe to stand within 3 to five feet of my Microwave and or look in the window as I "Nuked" a hotdog due to concerns of over exposure of elevated magnetic fields!

At first I thought the Mod's were upset that I asked an "Is it Safe" question, but as it turns they wanted to make it abundantly clear that if I ever typed the words "Nuke" on the MWF again, I would be Banned for Life! Apparently they really don’t like that term!

I know the model # of my watches, the letters of my Harley’s and the numbers of my Porsche’s. Also, my Ss, dL, ccl, and plate numbers. Am I weird?

I will never understand why people get upset by these names. I assume you are referring to batman and hulk especially. Maybe even Kermit and smurf.

Why are they not accepted when for decades we have been referring to certain watches as Paul Newman, Pepsi, double red, big white, James Bond, big crown, coke, root beer.

Even Rolex releases a deep-sea sd and printed it on the dial along with the appropriate colour variation.

So I don’t get why some are adopted and some are not.

Haha! I'll try to remember that Bas, next time I've got my movement exposed.

Do you really have a micro torque wrench?
I'd love to see a photo.

Is it Snap-On?

Saddd but true, i see plenty of submariners gmt's and dj's all around in the city here. I guess nobody is really interessed in these watches they just try to show the f*** off with it...

one more reason why i choose for the 216570 it is a watch that nearly only enthousiasts would know.

228235. I don't think it has a nickname, and happy with that because I think they're a bit naff.

I must admit to not having a clue with regards to the bracelet and clasp codes. I'd like to know though.

I've got to go now, I'm cooking a hotdog in my E-8734F12
I've gone vintage, bought E-8734, but the F08.
It's got the red lettering on the toggle sprocket intake valve (on the back-flush side, drilled lugs, obviously).
