Polar since you already have 2 black faced sport watches. Plus Polar looks better IMO.

You really do have to see both on your wrist to decide. You might be surprised by which you pick, I know I was.

Black if going for the 42 size. White dials wear large. Too large at 42, unless you’re into that.

OP it would help if you posted pix of your actual watches so we could see how the proposed additions could compliment your collection..
ie. if you have all black dials, go polar if you want to diversify. if you have varied dials, go black as a solid go-to btw, selling your pelagos by any chance? :) |

I like both the white and black dial but think the white dial really stands out. One of my favorite watches and the white dial with the orange hand is strong and not seen everywhere.

I've owned both. You need to view them almost as two different watches...
The White dial is better for legibility on an expedition. Pure and simple. But, as a daily wear it sometimes gets a bit much. The black dial is more a celebration of the original explorer two, floating hands etc. After a year of wearing both I kept the black. It's the better one for me. Try both on and see which you like. |

Polar gets more love on here.
My vote, however, is black. Go see both and buy the one you like the most. Fantastic reference. One of my favourites

Tough choice.
The black dial has beautiful contrast with the hour markers, but im not sure why the hands aren’t fully white gold, the tip closer to the center is black for some reason. Polar on the other hand has full black hands, but the hour markers doesnt provide much contrast. I would go polar, just because it speaks more as being an “Explorer” |

Polar. You'd have 2 white and 2 black.

I'd have to say Polar (that's what I have) But I think it's part of what sets the EXP II aside from most of the other models - I'd probably vote for white Daytona as well for the same reason.

Sorry Brian, have to disagree with you about the white Daytona. I had a TT one with the white face and sub dials ringed in gold. I bought a Seamaster to wear in preference! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

Black !
Or not, honestly, go try them. I thought I was getting the polar, it's easily the most photogenic of the two, but side by side, the black won out. "Balancing" my collection doesn't matter so much, I just want whatever watch I'm wearing at any moment, to look good, so with one exception, all my watches have black, or very dark dials. |
