Was looking at purchasing this limited edition watch... trying to warm up to the eagle medallion that has been added to the dial?

Anyone else have this? Would love to hear your opinion about this vs. the classic dial face. THX

Just to clarify... referring to the Apollo 11 40th Anniversary... THX

it's a great piece and the second hand with the red tip extension is a nice touch. I've had 3 of them in recent months and it's still quite a looker. I don't think the medallion takes away from the dial but that my opinion. Some like the very classic look. Make sure you get the full package though

I was looking at it before I decided to purchase a vintage 321. I think the dial is stunning and the whole presentation box is magnificent. However, it's fairly expensive. And in 2019 (not too far away), will the 40th anniversary edition be as relevant as the 50th?

If you already have a speedy, I'd say wait for the 50th, or get yourself the original Armstrong 321, for nearly the same price (which will remain relevant regardless of the year).
