After almost 4 years of use there are definitely marks, but came to realization that you can’t avoid them if you wear it

I hate to agree... I've got a blue 5711 from the AD a year ago but am increasingly wondering if I'd prefer the 5712. I certainly find its asymmetry more and more attractive - it seems like it will never get boring.

They are both great. The 12 has better dial layout be all the nautilus in my opinion... because of the way the reserve indicator, moon phase and seconds counter is laid out ...it makes the blue dance in different lights. It’s the same blue as the new 5728 from what I understand with darker edges... but the thing is there are more edges.

They both are great great watches. 12 is the best of all nautilus money aside followed by the 5711. The rest are derivations of the core design but nothing ever beats out the core. If you have a chance I would get the 12...it’s been 10 years or so now... likely to be discontinued at some point. That’s always been rumored...

But buy anything people sell you buy buy buy

Have had both the blue and white 11s
The 12 is , to me, the one to have out of the lot

Obviously if you have to pick just one, otherwise get all of them

I'm to cheap to buy the rubber version since the rubber version cost more then the bracelet version in the secondary market.....

I’ve owned both for a while. I actually wear my 3712 more because it’s a bit more beat up- it’s also a bit more quirky and fun.

However for a classic look and elegance personified, the 5711 edges out the 5712/3712 in my humble opinion
