Ladies Calatrava 4895 in WG. The RG black dial version is a bit more sedate… well, insofar as something with a load of baguette diamonds could be considered as being sedate.

Y’all are too funny, we passed on it. But I wasn’t sure what it was...cool diamonds tho.

Just now we actually walked into the RM NYC store... possibly get a RM 11-02 and a variant of the 67 (the bigger one). But I’m not 100% sold yet....

I mean there are only so many nautilus the family should have.

I think it looks great. Nothing wrong with a ladies piece covered in diamonds.

I’m not there yet but I always keep going into the stores to look. I worry it doesn’t have the sustainability. Brands come and go...

But I do like the 11-02. I prefer that over a AP...so maybe at some point.

But I still enjoy the Patek heritage.

Agree on the brand equity. Case is too thick for me. I’ve learned my lesson on the big watches once and for all. They do have some cool looking pieces

I see guys in finance that wear a Franck Muller, and to me it says “I was paid before the crisis, and not since”. And it makes me wonder if this is RM in 10 years?

I hope not... I do really love the RMs. I have a small wrist and they look silly on me... and part of me thinks this case design will look just as out of place as those Franck Muller funky numbers do today.

You really aught to change how you perceive others, and worry less about their financial status.
Learn to accept their aesthetic preferences, irrespective of whether they align with yours.
Some, no matter how wealthy, simply don't see the value in watches above a certain price point, and shouldn’t be denigrated because of it.

Tonneau case design has been around for some considerable time, and like the Reverso and Cartier Santos/Tank, they’ll still be around as long as there are people who fancy something other than a typical round case design.

Have to concede that what I wrote could be taken as my looking down on someone. Wasn’t meant to be that way... was trying to make a light hearted comment about how trends change over time.

Reminds me of the Enterprise from Star Trek with a female captain. I disagree with a leather strap/ a space Velcro nato is appropriate here prefably in space pink

I thought the 11, 67 and 35 are not available without prior history, or is the nyc store easy going? I would be interested to explore them given how crazy patek price going in the aftermarket..

I don’t know about the 35. But I was told I could get a 11-01 and 11-02 but the 11-03 they stopped taking orders. Maybe I got mixed up on the 67 it was the RM 029 and 030
