I enjoyed meeting you a while back for a couple of beers!

Loved seeing your Rolex Day-Date in real life, too!

I want one. Am looking for an 18k men's first issue or a woman's. Keep your peeps open for me if you see one. They are gorgeous. No diamonds.

What a great thread! I love the DD. It is absolutely timeless and classy. Great thread, and its' about time! Nothing compares in MHO.

That is a story I would love to hear no matter how long. In fact, the longer, the better.

I have a good DD story from a recent encounter with a DD owner at AutoZone. I think I'll post it up sometime soon.

My Day-Date

Hello everyone, I am new to this forum and this is my first post. I own a 18k Rolex Day-date and 2 other Rolex's and a few other watches. I tend to collect watches more then wear them.

That should be platinum as that is a platinum-only dial.

Much more appealing than the current champagne with lumed sticks--as functional as the increased luminous material may be.

My 18238, or I should say "ours". My wife has taken over wearing it, the YG looks nicer IMHO with her skin color. Either way it is very, very sharp. I'd like to revisit the WG and platinum versions, very nice photos everyone!

Here's mine. (But not for long, will probably trade this one for a RG Daytona.)

My wife will divorce me if I buy yet another Rolex. This to me is "The Rolex" to get now.

I saw in the 2012 line up this model in rose gold. I alrady own then solid gold Sub.. So not sure if I should have two watches in gold.. Maybe time to give rose gold a try.
