Found this interesting to see the comparison of the different materials.
Weighed my YG DD2 the other day.
Sorry not the best pic in the world.

First pic I've posted and not sure why it's sideways :/ lol

And on a side note I had a couple links removed.

It is more than just weight. The balance of the watch case and the bracelet is important too. I found milgauss 'wears' heavy because it is top heavy, even it is lighter than precious metal pieces.

Thanks.
My 116509 with all links weiged 222g and my 116520 with all links weighed 144g. This was on my girlfriend's Homedics home food scale. Not exactly a precision instrument, but should be very close to accurate.

I like light cars (like 911's), luggage, and light custom pocket knives (made largely from Titanium) but I prefer some heft to my watches. A paradox that I can't explain.

The gold Daytona feels just right, weight-wise, and the Platona is almost (but not quite) too heavy.

For those who saw the movie Inception, a precious metal Rolex with its exquisite weight is like a token that the owner can fondle and hold in his hands to know he is in reality and not a dream.

I love this... Yes, I always thought of an analog wrist watch as a tool for measuring our planet's movement around the sun, or our motion through space.

Too bad the movie had to use a Hamilton, but better Hamilton than a generic...

I too like a hefty weighing watch but i've found that after a while no matter how heavy the watch is eventually everyone will get used to wearing the same watch with a same weight and will forget the watch is even there.. try and wear your watch on the other wrist and it'll feel heavy again..

My mistake. I confused Inception with Interstellar. Interstellar utilized a Hamilton...

My cousin has a YG DD2 and I have a 718 and you can tell the difference of having a ceramic bezel gold watch compared to having an all gold bezel. I don't know the exact weight, but you can really tell the difference.

Does anyone know the weight of both watches....I think Mike did this once...?

Weight is also a good way for a novice to tell if a gold watch is real or not.

The 116619LB is roughtly 228 to 229 grams with all the links still intact. I've measured the links separately and they weigh about 3 to 4 grams each, depending on which link it is.
