Smurf on NATO?

Has anyone ever come across a smurf on a NATO? I personally can't imagine doing it, just curious if it had ever happened.

To each, their own.

I definitely would not. Go get a regular Sub or Sub Date for things like that.

Hell No!

I will never replace my WG Oyster bracelet for a Nato.

If I had a smurf and wanted to wear it on Nato I would and it would be no one else's business. That said if I was going diving with it I might truly consider it for a bit extra security for the watch. Wearing it as a fashion statement; likely not.

You can also wear your underpants on your head but just because you can doesn't mean you should

If you can afford a smurf, you can afford a (vintage) sub watch head to put on a nato!

Yeah just throw away the bracelet, not like it's worth a damn.

Only two posts in, and already with a fantastic one!

OP, if you want a blue diver on a nato, go pick up a blue Pelagos.

X 2.... That blue with the right strap would look incredible.

The problem is that with most expensive things the majority of people treasure it because of its price. However, one mans SS Sub is another mans WG Sub... A sub is a sub. So to each their own and I would LOVE to see one on NATO

Once you feel the weight of a Smurf, you wouldn't put it on a strap.

Very nice post indeed for that newcomer

Never saw a Smurf on a strap myself, but here is what it must look like. And for the OP...this one is for you and a lot cheaper than the real McCoy if you want it. Looks are almost the same

I will keep it with this one if you don't mind :-)

I knew a guy who put a white gold Sub on a Nato when he gave it to his 11 year old son. He said he'd put it on the bracelet when the kid was 13 and got an A on a test. That way the boy would appreciate the value of a $30k watch.

I think the boy his wrist was not heavy enough to hold the White Gold bracelet yet at the time

I would most definitely put it on a NATO. I love how comfortable natos are and how it takes a Rolex 1 step lower on the non wis radar. Being WG means nothing to me same watch why would the rules change?

Diver and NATO are meant to be

With the right tool, scratching the lugs isn't really an issue at all...

OP, I'd never do it personally, but then again I only like the maratec on my casio pathfinder...

one of the attractive features of the Smurf is the weight, look, and feel of the white gold bracelet, so its a no for me
