Question regarding 14060

Hello everyone,

Quick question: can a 14060 with tritium dial (SWISS -T<25) be fitted with a bezel that is not a flat four? I am not very familiar with this reference but it felt weird when I saw it.

of course. the 14060 came with either flat or pointed 4s throughout its lifetime

Flat four inserts are just that a type of insert font used on bezels that have been used many times over the past 50 years in different time periods.The inserts were made so they could be changed if they got damaged over the years of wearing.And if damaged say at RSC service replaced to whatever type of insert they had on shelf.All this flat four internet hype started with the introduction of the 16610LV around 2003/4.In the same time frame all subs and SD had flat four font bezels and no big deal.But now thanks to the internet hype over the 16610LV many charge crazy money for them to those willing to pay.There are possible a thousand plus first launch 16610LV with flat four font green inserts around. And even service replacement inserts are flat four font but now Rolex exchange only.
