Timing the arrival of a Sub-C.

I know that nobody knows, particularly now with the pandemic, but my AD is new has no idea or suggestions at all, so I thought that I’d ask the forum - if I want a Sub-C 114060 in January, but not before, and not after (i.e., I want to get it in January), what should I do?

Order it in July or order it in December?

Any thoughts or suggestions are appreciate.

Thanks.

Does the year matter?

I bought one last April and told my AD I’d like another one in a year for a graduation present for my son. I’m still waiting and he’s no longer an AD.
My point is it’s unlikely that you will have the option of time in getting one.
If it becomes available just buy it. Even if it’s in a December.

I think this is probably the answer - just no way to know/tell to be able to time the arrival

Buy from a grey dealer the day before you want it and they will overnight to you. AD's have no guarantee of when stock will come in.

I would talk to your AD about ordering the watch, paying for it when it comes in (hopefully before Jan), then having them hold it in the safe (in the coffin, so they don't use it as a display model) until you collect it in Jan. They might work with you, or might not.

AD cant promise the timeline due to the high demand. Go for grey may be the best chioce if you don't mind the name on the warranty card.

Why don't you just order it.. Pay for it when it comes in but don't pick it up/fill out the car until Jan??
