I have been wearing that model for the last couple of days. The blue color is dazzling and I own some awesome blue watches (Bluesy, DJ2).

Well done! Perfect compliment to the UFO.

Thanks Dan! I stole the strap idea from a post in another forum. It’s a 20mm that fortunately wedged nicely into the 19mm lugs.

Turtle today. Took it off the crafter blue and put on the bracelet. You know, the seiko gets too much flack. It appears to be very solidly built and easy to get a good fit.

Old skool analog! Quite the achievement back in the day. So much more innovative than anyone else for that price point. Cool piece, great condition!

Thanks! I have the 7a28-7039 waiting for me in my apt in NYC and can't wait to see them side by side.

Just put on a Navy Blue, Elite Silicone strap from Barton on my SRP773. I had a curved end link Navy Crafter Blue. The CB was very uncomfortable on my 7 1/2 wrist. The Barton is so much more comfortable than the CB. Also only $20.00. And May I add, Barton customer service is excellent.

I’ll have to check out Barton. I have a small wrist, but even at 6.5 inches, the CB strap sticks straight down, and presses against the side of my wrist. If my wrist was bigger, it would be a real issue and would be not wearable. I also plan to order the blue strap that comes with the orange turtle. The silicone is as soft as butter and I don’t really care about it picking up lint. In general I find that people gripe far too much about seiko straps and bracelets.
