SPARTAN2161 - Watch out 🚨 Be very careful
Hi everyone.
I hate to write negativity about someone in here. But for your future sakes I have to. On the search for a Daytona 16523 I reached out on the WTB section. Nick aka SPARTAN2161 reaches out, and pictures lookes fine. (Pic 1+2) B66D5B3F-05CE-41A5-9328-D156F3A16AC3.jpeg 88F37FC2-16C3-400C-B03E-FE9FC0E5B9AF.jpeg He asked me if I’m interested, and I reply yes. Price is fair. I ask for some extra pictures of the bracelet to see if there is stretch. Then he sends me some additional pictures.. But Oops, all of a sudden it is a different clasp on the pictures F877A60E-3A43-4640-8E0D-829A4C779854.jpeg This off course sets of all alarms in me. I tell him that I’m not interested anymore cause of the difference in the pics.. No reply. I write him I’m surprised he has no explanation. No reply. From very fast questions “are you interested?” after each message he sends, to radio silence after this. Be very careful guys. Everyone deserves the benefit of the doubt. BUT- if something looks like a shit, and smells like a shit, there is a big possibility it in fact is a shit.! (Sorry the Language, but I think you get it) This forum is about trust. Be careful.. |

My account was hacked earlier today.
I have since updated my login, and enabled 2FA security. I have been inactive with my listings, thankfully a friend notified me about this post. Been on TRF for years with endless transactions. I would never do such a thing. |

Sorry for this.
But with this experience in mind I would recommend Everyone to never do anything than a face to face transaction with SPARTAN2161 |

I'm new to the site, but this seems to be a common issue. Seems to be recent? But I've already dealt with about 5 different accounts that were "hacked". They were in good standing and I suddenly noticed they got banned. I'm not sure how all these people are being hacked unless they are incredibly careless. I'm trying to do as many transactions F2F as I can, and ideally with an RSC checking the watch before I part with my money.
Here's one just from today: Wahoofan5 There's another one that seems too good to be true, but I won't list it here since the account doesn't show as banned yet. I'm actually not quite sure how the banning process works and how the mods are finding out who is compromised and to ban them. Edit. Here's yet another one from just 5 after. https://www.rolexforums.com/showthre...light=116610LV |
